Injury worries for Cherries cup clash

The Cobblers beat Bournemouth 2-0 at Sixfields back in August but caretaker manager Ian Sampson has a lengthy injury list to contend with for the second meeting. Midfielder Luke Guttridge lasted just 40 minutes of the 2-2 draw with Bradford on Saturday before being replaced but only has a dead leg - not a recurrence of his knee injury as first feared. However he will not be risked for the cup tie so Alex Dyer should start after scoring as a substitute at the weekend. Striker Courtney Herbert is out after also limping off with a calf injury while left-back Andy Holt is doubtful to be fit thanks to a knee injury. Adebayo Akinfenwa (knee), Dean Beckwith (groin), Liam Davis (foot) and John Curtis (groin) are all also out.
