Hornets fightback foils Cobblers
Michael Jacobs and Tadhg Purcell grabbed the goals as Northampton played out an entertaining 3-3 draw in their pre-season friendly against Watford.
Jacobs' early double put the Cobblers 2-0 up before Danny Graham pulled a goal back on the half-hour when he latched onto Ross Jenkins' pass and buried a low shot.
Purcell fired the Cobblers 3-1 ahead from close range after Scott Loach had parried his header.
But Graham grabbed his second of the afternoon with 13 minutes left and three minutes later substitute Marvin Sordell tucked away the leveller.
