Herbert determined to make contribution
Northampton striker Courtney Herbert believes fans will see the benefits of his first full pre-season this term.
The 21-year-old was signed from non-league side Long Buckby last autumn and believes he will be in better shape to play a key role for Ian Sampson`s side this season.
He said: "It`s my first pre-season as a professional so it has been difficult but I am getting used to it.
"You can always improve your fitness and I am not afraid to admit that my fitness was not great last season but I am getting there now.
"I am aiming to be in the team on a regular basis this season and score goals for this club."
