Harris loving life at Cobblers

The 23-year-old joined the Cobblers in August after plying his trade in college football in native America, but has yet to feature in a competitive match for Town. Despite the move across the Atlantic, Harris says he is enjoying life at Sixfields and has adapted to the League Two style of football. "It's great. Everybody's brought me in with open arms," Harris said. "It's hard moving all the way across the world but everything's settled in really well. "Here everyone plays it into feet, when I played everyone would just hit it into the air. It's more controlled, it's a little faster but a little more stronger, physical. It's a step up from what I've played but I'm fitting in pretty well." Northampton parted company with manager Stuart Gray earlier this month and currently lie 21st in the table, but Harris is confident the club can tun things around, adding: "In training the momentum of the game is going up and everyone's more motivated. You can always turn things around, it doesn't matter how low you go."
