Guinan excited by Ade partnership
The 33-year-old striker, who signed a two-year deal at Sixfields this week, believes Akinfenwa will be an irresistible force in League Two.
Guinan has experience of the division having been promoted from it twice in recent years, and he told the Northampton Chronicle and Echo: "I think at League Two level nobody will be able to take the ball off him.
"His strength and close control will make him a real handful in that league.
"As well as that, he scores goals too and I'm excited about the prospect of playing alongside him."
