Gray won't change Cobblers style

The former Aston Villa defender is a firm admirer of the passing game and will not give that up as the Cobblers look to secure immediate promotion from the rough and ready world of England's fourth tier. "We need to hit the ground running next season, we have got to go through some difficult changes but I won't change the brand of football that I want to play," Gray told Northampton's official website. "People tell me that League Two is more direct and you have to get the ball forward quickly and fight and scrap. We will be up for the battle but we also have to be brave and confident that we can get the ball down and play as well." He added: "The chairman expects promotion and I don't mind that, I thrive on pressure."
