Gray targeting home improvement

The Cobblers turned in a much-improved display during the 1-0 defeat at rivals Peterborough last weekend but have not won in front of their own fans since thrashing Crewe 5-1 in January. Gray said: "There is probably added pressure on us because we are the bottom and we need to pull away from there but what we can't have is anxiety setting in. "When we play at home the crowd will probably get a bit edgy, but I have said to the players that when you get booed coming off the pitch it's because you haven't played well. "I can't condone booing because I would rather they got behind the players, but the supporters pay their money and they are entitled to boo. "I would rather be coming off the pitch with the supporters clapping and cheering, because if they are doing that it's because we have done something right. So we need to do that on Saturday, and the game after that, and the game after that as well."
