Gray swoops for Baggies defender
The 21-year-old full-back has become Gray's second signing ahead of the transfer deadline after Watts' arrival from Fulham.
Hodgkiss made eight appearances for Aberdeen in a loan spell earlier this season.
"Jared is a player that has caught my eye in the past," said Gray.
"We played West Brom in a pre-season friendly here at Sixfields and I was impressed with his performance in that game and I've also seen him play for their reserves. He can play at either right or left-back and I'm sure he will be another good asset to our squad.
"He has spent the first half of this season on loan in Scotland but coming here will give him the chance to play some more first-team football and I would like to thank West Brom and Tony Mowbray for allowing us to bring Jared here."
