Gray pleased with Histon test
Gary Mulligan put the Cobblers ahead in the 41st minute with a penalty before Histon midfielder Josh Simpson drilled in a low equaliser.
Gray said: "We knew what we would get with Histon, they get the ball forward early and look to turn you and we coped well with that.
"The manner in which we scored was pleasing as it was the best move of the game but I wasn't happy with the goal we conceded.
"But a lot of teams in our league will play like Histon this season so it was a worthwhile exercise at this stage of pre-season."
