Gray hoping for first Cobblers win
Neither side have won a game as yet but Gray - who has seen his team fail to find the net in 180 minutes of football so far - believes that the Cobblers are on track for victory at Saltergate.
He said: "I'll always set my sides out to get a win.
"Chesterfield have had two games and two defeats so they'll be wanting to get off to to a start as well so it won't be easy.
"But we need to show more composure in and around the penalty area and the goals will come."
