Gray hails Cobblers' work ethic

Jason Crowe scored in first-half stoppage time to put more pressure on the lowly Robins and leave Gray in buoyant mood. "I felt we controlled the game, got our noses in front and deserved the lead," said Gray. "We just couldn't get the second goal and there was a 15-minute period where they put us under pressure and our two centre-halves did well. "The most pleasing thing was the great work ethic and desire to keep a clean sheet. Like any team down the bottom, Cheltenham were fighting and scrapping and they pushed us right to the death."
