Gray calls for more of the same
Goals in either half from Adebayo Akinfenwa and Ben Marshall made it back-to-back wins for Cobblers as they kick started their campaign.
"It's vital to win your home games if you want to be successful and I'm delighted we've made it back-to-back wins as well as keeping two clean sheets," said Gray.
"It was a great team performance and I was very satisfied with the way we defended from the front. The early goal settled us but Bournemouth put us on the back foot and Chris Dunn has had to make a couple of great saves.
"We've had two tests at the back in the last two games but Dean Beckwith and Chris McCready have handled it well and at the other end we're creating chances which is pleasing.
"It's vital now for us to build on these two victories."
