Gilligan missing for Shakers trip

Midfielder Gilligan scored his fifth goal of the season in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Bournemouth in midweek but also collected his fifth booking and serves a one-match ban.[LNB]However Sampson is hopeful a trio of players who missed out on Tuesday night will be fit to play at Gigg Lane.[LNB]Andy Holt (knee), Luke Guttridge (dead leg) and John Curtis (groin) are all back in training and could all start.[LNB]Striker Adebayo Akinfenwa is also back in training after a knee problem and could be in the squad but defenders Dean Beckwith (groin) and Liam Davis (broken metatarsal) remain sidelined.[LNB]Forward Billy McKay is available despite being called up to the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for their European Championship qualifying match in Iceland on Tuesday afternoon. He will join up with the squad on Sunday morning.[LNB][LNB]
