Gray has rarely been able to spend money on transfers during his tenure at Sixfields and has instead relied on loan signings - which while offering a short-term boost have not boosted the club's coffers.[LNB]He said: "If you haven't got money to go out and buy players then you're limited. But what we've done here is given players the opportunity to come here and play some football.[LNB]"Alex Pearce came in and did really well, Daniel Jones did the same thing, and what it does is it puts these boys in the shop window.[LNB]"In an ideal scenario you'd be in a position to sign these players and then make a profit on them yourself. But it's all about the development, isn't it?[LNB]"We keep talking about what this club needs and we need the ability to be able to invest in our own players."[LNB][LNB]
