The opposition view of Saturday's late, late defeat for Northampton Town

"We played some really good football. I was delighted all the way through with the way we passed the ball and created numerous chances."

That was the verdict of Fleetwood manager Micky Mellon after his side finally made their man advantage tell in stoppage time to deny the Cobblers a battling point.

"It's always difficult to play against two banks of four so to come out at the end and get a result I'm very pleased.

"It's been a fantastic day for us. I'm delighted where we are but we're not good enough to not take it one game at a time."

Aidy Boothroyd was similarly pleased with his side's resolve in the face of having to play for an hour with ten men after Daniel East's dismissal.

Town will look to bounce back on Tuesday night when they travel to face a struggling Dagenham & Redbridge side.
