Exeter Aim To Avoid Game Of Two Halves

The Grecians have struggled to put together a full 90 minute performance on the road this season

Paul Tisdale''s men showed good spirit last weekend to earn a draw at Dagenham & Redbridge after a poor first-half display.

"We have been good in one half and then not so good in the other," said versatile midfielder Scot Bennett, quoted in the Exeter Express & Echo ahead of the trip to Sixfields to face Northampton Town.

"Hopefully on Saturday we can put in a performance that can last for the 90 minutes instead of just 45 and that will be enough to pick up the points."

History points to a Cobblers win with Town having won 31 and lost just 4 of their 50 home games with the Devon club.

Last season''s corresponding fixture, in October, ended in a 3-0 victory for Aidy Boothroyd''s men and a similar result would go a long way towards allaying fears after a slow start to the campaign.
