Edgar Davids versus Aidy Boothroyd!

15 October 2012 08:42
Friday night sees the Cobblers visit a Barnet side now coached by the former Dutch international star

In a surprise move, Davids took up a role as joint-head coach at Underhill last week and promptly saw his new side beaten 4-1 at home by Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

"I sat up in the stand for a better view but I am disappointed when we lose to set-pieces," he said after the game. "We have to work on that."That quote will be music to the ears of a Northampton side who have made set-pieces a key part of their game this season and who looked in fine attacking form during their 3-0 home victory over Exeter City."Northampton have a very good squad and they looked a very effective unit out there in this match," was the verdict of visiting boss Paul Tisdale.Barnet and Northampton will meet for the 28th time on Friday with the Cobblers looking for their 4th win in North London, the last coming just over a year ago in the corresponding fixture at Underhill.
