The 21-year-old was one of four players offered new terms by manager Stuart Gray and has tied himself to Sixfields until at least the summer of 2011. Gray said: "Chris deserves his new contract and I am pleased he has signed the deal. "He is developing all the time and has the potential to be a very good goalkeeper. I am convinced he will continue to develop because he has a first class attitude to the game. He is always willing to learn, always keen to listen and he is often the first one on to the training ground and the last one to leave. "He grew in stature throughout last season and I have no doubts we have signed a very good goalkeeper for the next two years. "This club has a proud tradition of developing our own goalkeepers, and Chris is the latest following the success of Mark Bunn."
