Northampton manager Ian Sampson has doubts over three key players ahead of the visit of Barnet. Sampson witnessed his side hammer Crewe 6-2 on Tuesday night but also saw full-back John Johnson (knee), captain Andy Holt (calf) and striker Leon McKenzie (thigh/hamstring) limp off. Sampson said: "The three players that came off on Tuesday night are all major doubts. "Johnno is the most likely out of the three to make it but I think Leon and Andy are both very doubtful." Paul Rodgers will replace Johnson at right-back if required, Billy McKay will start in place of McKenzie while Francis Laurent or Ryan Gilligan could take Holt`s place on the left wing. Midfielder Kevin Thornton joined in training on Thursday after a hamstring injury, left-back Liam Davis is out with a knee problem and striker Tadhg Purcell is still sidelined with his knee injury.
