Cobblers snap up Blues youngster
The 20-year-old has been a regular feature in the Premier League club's reserves this season, and previously had a spell on loan at MK Dons.[LNB]Gray said: "Carl can play anywhere along the back four and he can also sit in the midfield.[LNB]"I've seen a lot of Premier League reserve games and a fair bit of him playing for Chelsea's reserves and he is one that we were looking at earlier in the season before he went on loan to MK Dons.[LNB]"He will give us more competition for places and as with Jason Crowe and Danny Jackman he will give us versatility.
