Cobblers' pitch inspection
Northampton have asked the match referee to take a look at the Sixfields pitch at 9.30 on Saturday morning ahead of the game with Stockport.
The pitch has stayed in reasonable condition under the frost covers and with rain and higher temperatures forecast for the early hours of Saturday, the club remain confident the game will take place.
A club spokesman said: "To be fair to all supporters however, the club have asked the referee to cast his eye over the conditions before they begin their journeys."
