Northampton Town skipper Chris Doig has called for a huge team effort to take the club out of the League One relegation zone. Defeat at Yeovil on Tuesday sent the Cobblers into the bottom four. "We have had words in the dressing room again but it's about time that all 11 stood up to be counted," Doig told BBC Radio Northampton. "We've seven games left, that's 21 points, it's in our hands but I think we need to drastically improve." Doig added: "I'm disappointed, angry, upset, I have a lot of emotions. We need to win games. "It's still in our hands because we have an extra game in hand on a few of the teams but we have a lot of hard work to do and we've all got to grind together and pull in the right direction." Northampton's next match is away to Bristol Rovers on Good Friday which is live on BBC Radio Northampton.
