Cobblers look to Leon

Leon McKenzie is pushing for a start as Northampton face relegation rivals Stockport. The striker came off the bench to inspire a second-half comeback on Good Friday by scoring as the Cobblers came from 2-0 down to claim a point at home to Rotherham and could start at Edgeley Park. Captain Andy Holt - who has been handed a coaching role by manager Gary Johnson - also made his comeback from a knee injury as a late substitute and could come back into the side as they search for a first win in 18 games. Striker Billy McKay is back in the squad after six weeks out with a dislocated elbow but midfielder Ryan Gilligan has been ruled out for the rest of the season after an ankle operation. Defender John Johnson is out with a recurrence of his thigh problem while midfielder Kevin Thornton has a knee problem and goalkeeper Chris Dunn will miss out again with his head injury.
