Cobblers land plum tie
Northampton face the mouthwatering prospect of a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool in the third round of the Carling Cup.
The Cobblers are the only remaining npower League Two side in the draw after they beat Reading on penalties at the Madjeski Stadium in round two.
The tie will be played in the week commencing September 20.
