Cobblers land Anya after trial
The 21-year-old joins the Cobblers on a short-term contract after spells at Wycombe and non-league Oxford City and Halesowen Town.
Anya has agreed terms at Sixfields and Gray believes the midfielder can provide the creative options his side need to stave off relegation.
"He is a wide player with pace and he can go past people and create opportunities," said Gray.
"He has been used mainly as an impact player from the bench in his career so far and he will give us a different option.
"We have had a good look at him and we think he can bring something different to us."
