Cobblers complete Curtis signing
The 30-year-old, who has played for Manchester United, Blackburn and Nottingham Forest, has impressed during a pre-season trial with the Cobblers. Curtis ended last season at Wrexham.
Manager Stuart Gray said: "John has got a fantastic pedigree and we have seen in pre-season the quality he has.
"His use of the ball is first class and he has that knowledge and know-how of doing the right thing at the right time. You only have to look at some of the clubs he has played for to see the quality he has.
"He plays at right-back, but can also do the holding role in midfield and he can be a big influence for us both on the field and in the dressing room.
"He is a first class professional with an excellent mixture of pedigree, experience and a desire to do well for us."
