Cobblers boss plays waiting game

The Cobblers boss is eager to tie the influential duo down to extended deals and also admitted he is keen to see defender Liam Dolman return to full fitness and earn a new contract. He told the club's official website: "Mark Hughes has got an offer on the table and obviously Giles Coke has got an offer, and [with] Liam Dolman it's down to his decision. "We just put a little bit of pressure on Liam to come back to the level of fitness that we want him to come back to to earn a contract. "Mark is on a very good contract at this football club, a League One contract, but unfortunately with us going down he's had to be offered reduced terms so Mark will keep his options open. "Giles has been offered a contract equivalent to the one he was on last season and if he goes elsewhere then it goes down to a tribunal."
