Crowe left the club for Leeds on Tuesday but there was positive news with Coke opting to sign a new contract at Sixfields when he returns from his holiday. "The picture is obviously now a little clearer for us," he told the Northampton Chronicle and Echo. "We are currently in talks with a number of players about bringing them to the club." "I am pleased Giles has decided to stay with us next season. "He is a player with a huge amount of natural ability and a lot of potential. He was very influential for us the season before last with some important goals from midfield and while last season was obviously disappointing for all of us, I am sure he can be a big player for us this season."
