Cardoza lays down law for Cobblers
But although the club are faced with having to reduce their wage bill ahead of the season, Cardoza insists that promotion is still at the top of their agenda.
"Next season, firstly, we do have a 60% wage cut so that's got to be taken into account," he told his club's official website.
"But we're fortunate we're probably, in revenue terms and turnover terms, the biggest club in the division so I would say we will probably have the biggest wage bill in the division.
"I fully expect to be promoted next season and I won't be happy with anything less."
