The 46-game marathon that is League Two is over and the season comes down to a maximum of three more games. The first of these sees Northampton Town take on Cheltenham at Sixfields on Thursday in the semi-final 1st leg.

Home form has been the bedrock of the Cobblers campaign and home advantage in the first leg of the League Two semi-finals has proved a positive in the past two seasons, all four games going the way of the home team who then progressed into the Wembley showdown.

In the corresponding fixture at Sixfields back in December, Northampton took an early two-goal lead before a Robins fightback saw the visitors take away all three points.

"We started very, very well," said Aidy Boothroyd after that game.

"We created lots of chances and we were on the front foot. At the back end of the half, we stopped doing what gave us all that success, and conceded three really bad goals."
