Former Premier League star Lee Hendrie is looking to spark an upturn in fortunes for the Bantams Manager Peter Taylor responded to a difficult start to the season by signing the experienced midfielder, who made his debut in the weekend win against Gillingham but a lack of match fitness may see him rested for this weekend's trip to Sixfields. “I’ve got to be careful," said Taylor, quoted in the Telegraph & Argus. "All of a sudden we’re playing three games in eight days next week and it doesn’t mean Lee Hendrie will play every one. I was really pleased for him on Saturday. He’s a good lad and you could see the result meant a lot to him. “It was his first 45 minutes and he doesn’t know us from Adam. But he really loves his football.”
