Bradford came from behind to beat Northampton 2-1 and record only their third win of the season.

Two goals in seven minutes midway through the second half did the job for City.

After an uneventful first half, Northampton took the lead with a superb goal from Michael Jacobs who beat Bradford goalkeeper Matt Duke with a 35-yard shot just before the hour mark.

However, Bradford equalised shortly afterwards when Andy Holt handled a cross from Michael Bryan and stand-in skipper Craig Fagan scored from the penalty spot.

Then, fellow striker James Hanson scored the winner after 69 minutes. He headed the ball into the net at the far post after Northampton failed to clear Kyel Reid's curling left-foot cross.

Northampton caused some anxious moments for the home defence in the closing stages. Their best chance fell to substitute Jake Robinson in the last minute but he fired high over the crossbar.
