Speaking after the crucial 2-1 win at Morecambe, the first victory of his reign, Boothroyd told the official club website: "We are still looking to add to the squad and I want a squad of quantity rather than quality."
Confirming that players will be leaving as well as arriving, the Town boss also pondered the goalkeeping position after his first signing Shane Higgs suffered a ruptured Achilles.
"I'm going to give it some thought," he said while praising Freddy Hall for his performance between the sticks.
