Beckwith expects Cobblers riposte

Defender Dean Beckwith believes Northampton will bounce back from their disappointment at Stockport on Monday to preserve their Football League status. Gary Johnson looked set for his first win in charge until a late stunner from Greg Tansey gave the Hatters a point but Beckwith is confident of finally ending the long wait for a victory at home to Stevenage on Saturday. He said: "We will definitely stay up. "The lads are massively fired up and we have got two cup finals now, six points, and we will stay up if we win them. "Obviously being 2-1 up with 10 minutes to go on Monday, we will view that as two points lost. "All the lads were gutted with two points lost and everyone was gutted on the bus on the way home. But we have got a massive game on Saturday now and we will be fired up."
