Beckwith blow for Cobblerd

Northampton will be without Dean Beckwith when they host rock-bottom Hereford. The defender saw red in last week's defeat at Cheltenham for stamping on Shaun Jeffers and now begins a three-match ban, having only just returned from a five-match lay-off following a calf injury. Boss Ian Sampson is likely to respond by changing formation which will see Ben Tozer and Andrew Holt partnered in defence. Sampson has no fresh injuries to contend with as he tries to arrest a worrying slump in form, with the Cobblers having lost their last three League Two games. Striker Leon McKenzie is hopeful of a start after appearing from the bench in recent weeks while Craig Hinton and Tadhg Purcell (both knee) are continued absentees.
