Bauza snatches point for Cobblers

Guillem Bauza grabbed a last-gasp equaliser to earn Northampton a share of the spoils against promotion-chasing Torquay in a 2-2 draw at Sixfields. Substitute Billy Kee looked to have won it for Torquay when he put them back in front in stoppage time, but Bauza had the final word in a dramatic game. Torquay's build-up to the game was badly hampered as they were stuck on the motorway, where their players had to board a coach borrowed from Cheltenham Town to continue their trip to Northampton. The game kicked off half an hour late, but the visitors were quickly into their stride, taking a 14th-minute lead when Eunan O'Kane shot home from the edge of the box. The Cobblers gradually got into the game and got back on level terms on the half-hour mark. A Liam Davis free-kick was headed back into the six-yard box by Abdul Osman where John Johnson headed home. Kee thought he had sealed his side the points two minutes into stoppage time, but Bouza popped up to hammer home a volley and earn Northampton a deserved point.
