Barnet upbeat despite league position

Northampton face the division's bottom club at Underhill on Saturday Despite their lowly perch, Bees boss Mark Stimson believes that his side are starting to show signs of an upturn in their fortunes and was very pleased with Barnet's display in defeat against Charlton in the FA Cup on Tuesday. “We've come here and put a performance on that I'm very proud of," he said after a narrow reverse against the League One side. “We're slowly getting there - how I want the team to play,” added Stimson. “We're still not 100 per cent on it because we're not turning those chances into goals. “The bigger picture looks quite bright but we need to make sure we get some league points.” Last season's corresponding fixture ended in a goalless draw just after Christmas.
