Paulo Di Canio is a candidate to take over as manager at Swindon Town Paul Hart has left the County Ground following relegation from League One but the Wiltshire club have big ambitions to make an immediate return from the Football League's basement. Former Celtic, Sheffield Wednesday and West Ham star Di Canio is thought to be one of eight potential managers on the Swindon shortlist. Elsewhere Micky Adams is set for a quickfire return to Port Vale who he left at Christmas to take over at Sheffield United. Having now parted company with the Blades following their relegation to League One Adams is again available and has a three-year deal on the table with the Valiants, whose season imploded with a series of poor results and off-field incidents following his departure.
