Akinfenwa calls for consistency

The Cobblers' leading scorer opened the scoring against Swindon on Tuesday night, only for the Robins to battle back and win 4-3 to leave Stuart Gray's side just two points above the relegation zone. Northampton face fellow-strugglers Carlisle and Yeovil in their next two games and Akinfenwa insists they must be more ruthless. "We can't keep gifting teams goals, its frustrating, we're inconsistent. We keep taking steps forward and then steps back." Akinfenwa said. "There's nine games to go, this is the business end and we've got to put it right and hopefully we can do that on Saturday."
