Nice have made striker Valere Germain their fourth new recruit of the transfer window.

The 25-year-old arrives on a season-long loan from Monaco, for whom he has made more than 100 league appearances since graduating from the club's academy at La Turbie.

A statement published on Nice's official website confirmed Germain had passed his medical on Wednesday morning and was travelling to a pre-season training camp at Divonne-les-Bains.

Les Aiglons, who finished 11th last season, have already signed former Newcastle winger Hatem Ben Arfa, defender Maxime Le Marchand and Ivorian midfielder Jean-Michel Seri this summer.
