West Ham & Wolves Interested in €30m Move for Milan Midfielder Franck Kessie

Milan could be willing to part ways with Franck Kessie, amid interest form Premier League clubs Wolves and West Ham.

The 22-year-old has made 108 appearances for the Rossoneri since joining the club from Atalanta in 2017, scoring 13 goals in the process.

In recent weeks, however, Kessie has seen his first team spot threatened by the emergence of Rade Krunic, and the Ivorian was substituted in a recent game against Parma after an underwhelming performance.

Milan are blessed with a host of options in his position including Krunic, Lucas Paqueta and Giacomo Bonaventura. Now with the club looking to finance a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the near future, Kessie's sale could prove to be sensible business.

Tuttosport report that the club value the Ivorian at €30m and they would likely want this fee to be received in full for a player that still has significant potential to improve.

The report also touts the Premier League as a potential destination for the hard-working midfielder, with West Ham and Wolves the two English sides linked with the player.

A move to east London would provide the Hammers with some much needed youth in the middle of the park, with Mark Noble and Carlos Sanchez both well into their 30s.

The same could be said of Wolves, with Kessie representing a potential long term replacement for the aging Joao Moutinho - though they are quite dissimilar players.

There could also be options if the midfielder wants to remain in Italy.

Napoli have been linked with a move for Kessie, though it is unlikely that they would sanction such an expensive transfer while the club remains in embroiled in off-field turmoil.

Fiorentina are also said to be interested, even though they have already brought in 13 new players since the end of last season.
