The Europa League may be Europe's B-list club competition but that does not mean it is not capable of producing some pulsating, gut-wrenching moments... just ask Arsenal fans after tonight.

This forced the game into extra time and everyone was preparing themselves for penalties until Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang decided to do something absolutely magical.
Latching onto Gabriel Martinelli's improvised flick-on Aubameyang fired a bicycle kick into the top corner with seven minutes of additional time left to play.
OH YES!!! Aubameyang, you beauty. Saving our useless butts again. Fabulous goal. Exquisite technique. Super captain. We deserved nothing but you've dragged us through this tie. Sexy beast. 1-1 and 2-1 on aggregate, boys! #ARSOLY pic.twitter.com/vYXEBIuGJx

Scoring a goal like that in the Europa League just screams that Aubameyang shouldn’t be playing in the Europa League

GOAL!!!!! Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has done it!

What a goal! #UEL #ARSOLY pic.twitter.com/mVq2LdTT5t
So... that was it right? Article over. Well, no actually.
With almost the last kick the game, some sloppy Arsenal defending - what a shock - allowed Youssef El Arabi to slide in a goal of his own at the back post.
It may not have been as sexy as Aubameyang's, but it generated an even bigger reaction on social media as it meant the Gunners were heading out of the competition.
WHAT DRAMA! 勞

Biggest injustice in Moroccan football was this lethal killer missing out on the World cup.

El Arabi you beautiful man ! https://t.co/1WVTZJsOmN
At 33 years of age, Youssef El Arabi finally has his first taste of European football. Goals against Bayern, Tottenham, Crvena Zvezda, Krasnodar and now Arsenal.

"But wait! The ball's broken to Aubameyang in the box... there's no one around him... surely he'll score... OH NO... it's gone wide."
This is a fairly accurate retelling of the events but as always, Twitter told the story better than we ever could.
Just text Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang about the match. Our texts are always like this, it's so funny. pic.twitter.com/apglewZd9K
