Andy Little pulled a goal back but it was a dismal day for the Third Division leaders, who were described by their chief executive Charles Green in midweek as the worst side in the club's history.The Rangers players were jeered off with the score 0-0 at half-time, but it got worse as two minutes into the second half Annan made the breakthrough.
