James Tavernier scored a late penalty double as Rangers moved to the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 3-0 win over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.Celtic stumbled to a 1-1 draw at home to Kilmarnock on Saturday, leaving the door open for Philippe Clement’s side to take a two-point lead at the top with victory in Perth.
