Germany striker Lukas Podolski has admitted to being frustrated at the way his first season at Bayern Munich has panned out.
The 22-year-old former Koln frontman has made only 24 starts for Bayern, making more than half of his appearances from the bench.
Podolski told Bild: "I hope again every weekend that I will be allowed to play from the start, but that has hardly been the case this season.
"I am understandably very unhappy with my situation at Bayern. Above all I would like to develop further as a player.
"That cannot really happen on the bench. When have I this season been in the starting line-up three games in a row? Honestly, I have had enough of the Bayern bench.
"I will leave it until the end of the season, then I will have to consider whether it makes sense for both parties.
"I want to do what I have fun doing and what I am paid to do, play football."
