Josh Scott is a striker who signed for Dagenham & Redbridge in the summer of 2009. Josh spent the previous five seasons at Conference Club Hayes & Yeading where he developed into a prolific scorer. Josh scored on his senior debut for Dagenham in August 2009 against Cardiff City in the Carling Cup and went on to mark his Football League debut against Torquay with another goal. He played regularly for the Daggers in his first season and finished the campaign with 16 goals including four in the first leg play-off semi final against Morecambe. Josh continued in the team in the early months of 2010-11 but played just twice after the start of December and was eventually diagnosed with suffering a blood clot on his lung which ruled him out of action for the final four months of the season. He returned to training in July ahead of the 2011-12 season.
