Jordan Cousins is a highly promising young defender who signed his first professional contract for Charlton Athletic in March 2011 just a few days after his 17th birthday. Jordan plays at centre back or as a holding midfield man for the Addicks. He developed in the youth system at The Valley and was called into the senior squad for the first time when he was an unused substitute for the FA Cup second round tie against Luton Town at the end of November. Jordan was a regular for England U17s during 2010-11 and was included in the squad for the FIFA U17 World Cup in Mexico in the summer of 2011.
