Player Details

David Noble is a skilful midfield player with leadership skills who signed for Exeter City during the January 2010 transfer window, whilst recuperating from a serious knee injury.  He recovered match fitness by the start of 2010-11 and made his debut for the Grecians in the opening game against Colchester. David made good, steady progress as the season went on, and produced some excellent displays in the second half of the campaign as he went from strength to strength.  David played for Arsenal and West Ham as a youngster but it was only when he dropped down to sign for Boston United in February 2004 that his career began to take off. His performances at York Street earned him a transfer to Bristol City and he went on to make over 80 Football League appearances for the Ashton Gate club before being released at the end of the 2008-09 campaign.  He then had the misfortune to injure his knee while training during the 2009 close season.
