Player Details
David Edwards is a midfielder who joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from Luton in the January 2008 transfer window. David is a hard working, energetic box-to-box player in centre midfield. He was a key figure in the club's successful 2008-09 promotion campaign, in which he missed only two League games, but since then his appearances have been restricted by injuries. David began his career as a scholar with Shrewsbury Town and went on to make over 100 appearances during his stay, then spent six months at Kenilworth Road before joining Wolves. He won his first cap for Wales in November 2007 and has now played on more than 20 occasions for his country.
