Cameron Belford was first choice goalkeeper at Bury for 2010-11 after patiently waiting to be given his chance. Cameron was a trainee at Coventry City but was released in the summer of 2007. He signed for Bury and made his Football League debut when he came on as a substitute in the 2-0 win at Accrington Stanley in May 2008. Cameron spent three seasons as back-up keeper at Gigg Lane before finally being handed his first League start in April 2010 and took over the number one shirt for 2010-11 and was a near ever-present as the Shakers won promotion to League One.
